How to Play the Bakugan Game with Video Tutorials
The basic way to play Bakugun is each player places 1 card face down inside the arena, each time a player puts their card in the arena it must placed on the side nearest to their opposite opponent. Also note that a player can not use an ability card as their first card.
Once the cards are placed the players roll or fire their Bakugan using their launchers. The aim is to roll the Bakugan and get them to stand up on any of the cards placed in the arena. When two players get a Bakugan to land on the same card, then the players who own those Bakugan battle for that card. After each roll a player can add a new card to the arena if they wish, cards can be added even if the player doesn’t do a successful roll.
When two players battle for a card the way it works is to turn the card over and players than add or deduct the G power that is shown on the card to their Bakugan current G power, and the player who has the highest power wins the battle and keeps both bakugans and the card that was played for.
The game continues in this fashion until only one player has Bakugans left in play. Then everyone adds up the HSP points from the cards that they won during the game. They then add another 100 HSP points for each Bakugan they won during the game. The player who has the most HSP points in total wins the game. You may wish to keep a calculation of the scores as you play along incase you get confused later on.
Additional rules that are played by if a player rolls a Bakugan on to a card successfully, and then a second player rolls his Bakugan and knocks the first Bakugan off the card and remains standing himself then the player gets to keep the card and does not have to battle anyone for it. Also if a player rolls two of their own Bakugan onto the same card then again they don’t have to battle anyone and get to keep the card.
